In the Gloom/Scenes Set Against Architecture, is a book that documents a series of performances that occurred in Mexico from 2012-2014 inspired by demonic possessions which happened in France in the XVI century.
Due to the features of the topic, the design of the book and the way it was printed aim to represent the dark environment where the possessions took place. The prepress and printing process was extremely careful in order to keep as many as possible black tonalities by only using a single layer of ink.
The amount of ink applied on every page is so high that the weight and the texture of the paper have been changed substantially.
